She is an instrument-rated private pilot, holds a bachelor's degree in aviation technology from Kansas State University, and is currently pursuing her commercial pilot certificate. In her free time Mira enjoys building and flying her personal fleet of UAVs among other electronics projects. She's an active member of the local New Jersey 99s chapter, NGPA, and is passionate about supporting gender diversity in all areas of aviation.
